this is the third morning

...in aspect it is the second day, but, I am trying to stick with it.
I woke at about 4:45 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so I got up, fed the cats, had the rest of the vegetables from yesterday, fried two chicken quarters from what looked like they were from a 1/2 size breed, (fried in beef fat with a generous amount of gourmet pepper ground on) and an apple.
Granted, I am craving bread, yeah, but, the natural carbs that occur in apples and vegetables are rather high, and, with those items to convert to sugar I am not missing it....just burritos, spaghetti, potatoes, et al. I am considering that a (singular) burrito, every 3 or 4 days is not going to be a problem.
As for the spaghetti, well, there is nothing that says I have to have noodles with the sauce.  I found my Bolognese sauce, it is usually spicy, almost like a chili without beans, so it is good by itself.
I am not going to be a freak about weighing myself, I think the scale is afraid of me.  It seems to hide when I walk toward the bathroom, so, I am going to weigh myself every 4 or 5 days.  I am also going to weigh myself once in the morning on those days. So, the next time I am going to weigh myself will be no sooner than the 12th of this month.
  (blah blah blah)
The coffee is ready.  I am going to have it with about 2 oz 1% milk and 6 drops of stevia.  The stevia I get is in liquid form, made by now foods and is in a base of water and alcohol.  (those are the only three ingredients listed, so it is somewhat herbal/vegan friendly) If you are thinking I am pushing a product, I am not, it is the only manufacturer I have found that has only water and alcohol and, honestly, it is bitter by itself. It is not something you could get drunk on.  But 6 drops makes a cup of coffee pleasantly sweet.  (if you try it you may wish to use less)
Today, weather providing, I am going to go clean the rabbit hutch.  I wanted to, earlier, but, with the weather we have been having, everything is frozen.  When I went out, yesterday, to feed them, I looked down and there were rabbit tracks all over my back yard.  It would seem they have a following.  I have not seen any fox tracks, which is good, or tracks from the neighbor's two dogs, which is better, it means they are not letting their dogs run loose.  In the country, I could understand, but this isn't the country, and, oddly enough, I don't like dog do in my yard, especially when I am mowing.
For lunch I had one fried El Monterey beef and bean chimichanga and one medium chicken leg, fried in the same beef fat from this morning.  It was, quite possibly, the best burrito I have had in AGES.  The seasonings of the pepper mixed with the burrito itself, it didn't need salsa or any of the salad dressings I usually put on (quite liberally, actually).  The chicken leg was good.  I could have nuked the burrito, but, I figured because I already had the oil hot I may as well save energy and double duty it.
I put some palmolive dish soap in the oil, after, it should convert the fat to soap.  I don't have any potash or lye, otherwise I would use it.  It is just a little bit of fat left.  I think more than what I originally put in from the chicken I cooked in it.
It is gently snowing, out, and I am sure the rabbits are less than happy about that.  I made them a small house.  I jokingly call it my "Rabbitat, affordable housing for rabbits (and other small animals down on their luck) with carotene addiction".  At first they wanted nothing to do with it, now, they sleep in it, on it, chew it, hide in it...I think they have accepted it.
I also had two cups of coffee, left over from breakfast, with 3 oz, total, of 1% milk and 12 drops, total, of stevia, one grapefruit and one medium apple

I indulged this afternoon and had a serving of popcorn popped in grease.  It tasted like an old fashioned theater.  It was good.
For dinner I made a batch of the chili without beans, it was good, I used two medium small onions, one pound of italian seasoned ground turkey, two carrots and three celery sticks.  It too was good.
I made some tea with about 2 oz of milk, it was good.
I then found one of my rabbits was a female and she recently had two kits.  They both died.  I didn't know.  I feel bad.  I am hoping she had all she is having for now.  I realize that she could be having more in a day or two.  I had better get some bedding out there, tomorrow.  I am hoping that the male doesn't get territorial.  I have witnessed what can happen in those situations.  I will have to wait a bit, it is cold right now, covered in snow, and I will have to get another cage to separate the two.
I did find out a while ago Midnight, the slightly smaller, and may I say at this point, the slightly larger of the two, is a black calico.  It is really beautiful.  The top half of her is black, the bottom half of her is dark brown marble with traces of black and violet, and there are a few specks of white on it, here and there.  Really a beautiful animal!
